LAKE HARRIET

Art Deco tourism poster touting Lake Harriet on the southern tip of downtown Minneapolis. Lake Harriet was a favorite getaway for Twin Cities residents in the early 1900's. It boasted a grand Victorian pavilion, sailboat tours and a large public beach. The Twin City Trolley Line carried visitors from Minneapolis until the mid-1950's.
